This weekend I put time into starting to finalize my sketch and composition for my Creation of Adam-inspired piece. Finally had a day where I could just sit down and focus on this one project for several hours and I feel I got a lot done.
First detailed sketch with the decided-upon posing and composition, 9" x 12"
Color study, 11" x 17"
Just looking at it again from a bit of a distance I definitely see things I need to change or find better references for (the fabric in particular) but overall I like this setup. Will definitely be making at least two more versions of this level of completion and size.
