Creation: went over text, darkened foreground, touched up God's clothing + both figures' drapery. Waiting for this weekend so it can dry and I can go over the skin areas again but I'm definitely nearing the end of this piece!
Madonna: completed the underpainting! I've been thinking about the history of these kinds of pieces and I think I might want to make two or three small (6" x 6" at the largest) Madonna and Child pieces. Historically, small Madonna and Child paintings were kept in bedrooms and used for personal worship and I think I'd love to create a few like that.
