Worked on some sketches for smaller Madonna and Child pieces (finals will be no bigger than 6" x 8"), started blocking stuff in on the big oval one, and went over all the skin tones in the Creation of Adam piece. Waiting for the paint to dry so I can put it some details on the figures and then varnish + framing and it'll be done! After that I'm going to come up with the idea for my next piece.
I played around with placement again and switched to a serif font. I did however mess up the order of the haikus on one of the pages. I still need to think of titles and how I would like to have them displayed on each of the pages for the table of contents.

I missed out on making cards for the show. I needed to do something outside of the realm of books, show card typography play was a nice break.
I tried one of the exercises where I put multiple haikus on a page just to see how it would look all nicely laid out.
