updated skeleton things

-ribcage has been extended slightly

-shoulder blades have been added since last post, and adjusted since last class (to look less like wings and more like, who would’ve guessed, shoulder blades.)

also, i made collarbones from the arms off of Madi’s generously donated sunglasses. RIP sunglasses 🪦

-organs have been added (paper mache streamers for guts, and a crumpled paper ball with a paper clip for the heart [possibly to be changed later])

— re: something on the base; i acquired some ick-colored tissue paper to make some ✨things✨ with, most likely flowers or something earthy-ish, but i’m not sold on that entirely at the moment

the paper masses that look like dinosaur eggs are the beginnings of skulls, i did three a.) because i wanted to, and b.) because i’m absolutely positive one or multiple are going to fail miserably. they’re drying now so we will see.

Family Heart Collages with Backgrounds

Since I've been experimenting with abstract-like backgrounds on my Comic-Con Heart Collages, I also wanted to experiment with these kinds of backgrounds on my Family Heart Collages. I enjoy experimenting with these backgrounds for my heart collages! Therefore, I plan to experiment with variations of all my heart collages using different backgrounds and different elements in the heart pieces, other than just flowers.

"There's No Limits" Box

This box is larger than the other boxes I have made, and I wanted to experiment with the background for this one. The last box I made it was mentioned that the halo I used around the letters brought the eye directly to the center so I decided to make this background different and more detailed. I created a landscape during the sunset with white letters to push the contrast.
